Kiawah Retreat at Mullet Point

Coined “Mullet Point” by its owners, this vacation retreat was a long-held dream for a family from the Northeast. After finding the perfect Kiawah Island lot, they assembled a trusted team to bring their vision to life — a home designed to celebrate both the natural beauty of its surroundings and the way they love to gather.
JLV Creative joined the project early, collaborating with Anderson Studio to review the interior architecture and explore fresh ways to enhance a design already thoughtfully shaped for its unique site. From the start, our focus was on creating a warm, inviting environment that incorporated some traditional coastal looks, but with a more modern twist. Once the architectural elements were in place, we layered in furnishings and décor that reflected our clients’ personalities and their intent for the space. The home is thoughtfully divided: one wing dedicated to lively entertaining, the other to restful living quarters. Every detail supports the family’s vision of how they wanted to live here, from holidays and events to quiet mornings and poolside afternoons. More than a vacation home — it's a legacy property. A place designed to stand the test of time, to be enjoyed across generations, and to hold the memories of a lifetime. Build by Byrd Builders with Architecture by Anderson Studios.
